Bon Jour Petit Déjeuner!

I recently visited Paris and fell in love with French music, French architecture, French culture, but most of all (and who won't agree with this?) French food!

It's elegant, it's classic! It's mmm mmm délicieux! Pan au chocolat, Onion Soup Gratinée, Coq au Vin.... what's not to love?

Here at Glass Slipper Events, we are all about throwing a party for no reason. In fact, just-for-fun events can be some of the most spontaneously wonderful ones to have.

We have so many clients who are moms who just want to put together a fun monthly event where their children can be entertained and they can chat with their friends, uninterrupted. So here's a fabulous idea for a little French themed breakfast party. We're calling it, Petit Déjeuner avec Madeline.

Delicious fruit tarts and croissants with fresh preserves, café au lait for adults and story time, arts and crafts, and a petit lesson en Française for your wee ones from one of our fabulous character entertainers as Madeline!

And for the perfect outfit for the kids, look at these amazing hand made Madeline costumes from City Craft Online

la pièce de résistance if you're the type to make your own delicasies, here's a fabulous and simple Pain au chocolat recipe from the folks at Epicurious.com

Au revoir!
